For this Roundhill screen, I am not trying to rank the funds by payout. The group includes very different payout profiles, including ultra-high-yield names, weekly distribution structures, and at least one much more stable-looking row.

The question I care about is whether the payout is being paired with acceptable price behavior, or whether the income number is mostly hiding price-base pressure.

The current list includes GDXW, GOOW, PLTW, QDTE, RDTE, TOPW, WEEK, XDTE, and YBTC.

What I noticed

PLTW is the most extreme payout row in this snapshot, with 124.97% Dividend TTM. But it also shows -42.68% Price CAGR, -6.47% Total Return CAGR, and Elevated payout support risk. That is the type of combination where the payout number by itself is not very useful.

YBTC is also high income but still needs the same tradeoff check. It shows 79.63% Dividend TTM with -29.73% Price CAGR, 6.94% Total Return CAGR, and Elevated payout support risk.

QDTE, RDTE, and XDTE are easier to compare as a cluster. QDTE has 45.77% Dividend TTM with -18.42% Price CAGR and 10.36% Total Return CAGR. RDTE has 46.94% Dividend TTM with -20.53% Price CAGR and 9.44% Total Return CAGR. XDTE has 35.35% Dividend TTM with -12.99% Price CAGR and 7.12% Total Return CAGR. All three are marked Elevated for payout support risk, so the income needs to be weighed against the price decline.

GOOW is the row that stands apart from most of the group. It has 27.12% Dividend TTM, 79.83% Price CAGR, 35.45% Total Return CAGR, and payout support risk marked Low. That does not make it the best fund, but it does make the profile very different from the rows where high payouts come with negative price CAGR.

WEEK should not be read against PLTW or YBTC as if they are the same kind of income product. WEEK has only 3.79% Dividend TTM, 0.00% Price CAGR, 0.22% Total Return CAGR, and HIGH stability. It looks more like a stability-oriented row in this table than an ultra-high-yield comparison.

My takeaway is that Roundhill is not one clean category from a screening perspective. I need to separate the high-payout/high-price-decline rows from the rows where price behavior or stability looks materially different.
